The Co-operative Funeralcare is pledging to help those in need this Christmas by launching a project called “Kisses for Christmas” in association with The Salvation Army and asking for donations of essential goods which could make a real difference to the lives of the homeless and needy in our area.
Staff at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Macmillan Road, Newton Aycliffe are urging members of the community to donate non-perishable items such as tinned food, tea and coffee, toiletries, blankets and children’s toys to help those who are living in poverty and are hoping to collect as much as possible to hand over the The Salvation Army in the week before Christmas.
We will be very grateful for any and all donations no matter how small.  For further details please call Funeralcare on 300510.
