The entire Husqvarna UK team participated in ‘pre’ jubilee celebrations and fund-raising in support of the Great North Air Ambulance Service. Activities included a raffle, dressing up day and, on behalf of the company, every employee received a free cream scone as a small token of appreciation, not only acknowledging the celebration but also acknowledging the commitment and dedication of the Husqvarna UK Team.
Additional to the money raised for the charity Husqvarna UK has donated a ‘special edition’ automower to the charity which will reduce the cost of landscaping at the Eaglescliffe helipad site, the automower will be installed by the aftermarket sales team so, if passing the site, keep a look out for their newest member of the fleet (H-GNAAS)!
Husqvarna’s 700 staff managed to raise an eye watering £1801 in only three days of celebrations, an unbelievable amount that demonstrates the importance and commitment they have for this life changing charity, this money will contribute to saving more lives!
The raffle raised great interest over the ‘Limited Edition’ Jubilee Automower, other prizes included leaf blower, grass trimmer, 4 ball golf, Amazon vouchers. Congratulations to Harvey Lines who had the winning ticket. Harvey was thrilled to win the automower and was planning on taking a break from the Jubilee celebrations to install his bespoke mower – the only one in the world!
The celebrations were a great success, many volunteers joined forces to ensure the site was decorated, tickets sold, prizes sought, along with the sheer logistics and prep, their work and efforts were clearly visible as the site looked great and the event ran without issue, special thanks to everyone involved, you made the difference!
