Dear Sir,
I am delighted to confirm that £12,000 has been secured to purchase play equipment for St. Michael’s play area. A big thank you to young Thea Gibson for the amazing video she made urging us to ‘do something’ to replace play items removed as unsafe by DBC.
Another success achieved by your caring Ward Councillors to add to the numerous improvements which have been made for the community, some of which include:
The sports field, its play area, Village signage, parish plan, enhanced broadband speeds in Redworth, speed restrictions in School Aycliffe and Redworth, the school travel plan, bonfire nights and Village fetes to name but a few.
Last year the village had an excellent Platinum Jubilee event for the late Queen Elizabeth, which I led, and this year, with an enthusiastic Committee, I will be leading King Charles Coronation celebrations on 7th May.
Please note: We still need more Stewards to assist in the event.
Experience and teamwork are the keys which have enabled us to achieve much for the benefit of all residents of Heighington and Coniscliffe Ward. Please help this team to continue to do their best for you by giving your support to Paul Cruddas and Gerald Lee on 4th May.
Thank you
Gerald Lee, 1 Greenhill Rd., Heighington.
