Students from Greenfield Community College are working alongside staff to show support to each other and promote kindness. Students are always keen to support initiatives that help others and are enthusiastic fundraisers, recently taking part in activities to support Children in Need and Hello Yellow, raising money and awareness for Young Minds.

Currently, as part of National anti-bullying week, they are also raising awareness about being kind at school, highlighting the ways to prevent bullying and responding to it in an effective way. Staff have been provided with resources to help students recognise and be part of the solution if they become aware of any issues.

Young people across the nation will be taking part in activities such as ‘odd sock day’ a simple way to celebrate difference and show solidarity for the national campaign, the antibullying alliance state, “It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!”

Greenfield Community College are proud of the response by their students and are committed to supporting students to reach their full potential. The school promotes an inclusive curriculum encouraging students to work together to realise an outstanding learning experience.
