Dear Sir
I totally agree with your disgruntled resident about the recent grass cutting in wet conditions.
It looks to me like the council has got a new heavier machine and a fast driver to boot!
I magine if you started to cut your own grass and you noticed the grass was getting damaged and looking a mess, what would you do? Exactly….try again later when it’s drier.
Also are strimmers not used anymore? I have a nice new walk now with my dog that comes out out at Eskdale near the bridge, where there is a lovely park bench for old and tired people to sit on.
That is if they don’t mind all the weeds and nettles coming through the wooden slats. I know it all stems from the government cutbacks but come on . . .
People need to sit and rest.
