French GCSE students at Woodham are enjoying using mobile phone technology to improve their French. Using mobile phone Apps can be a fun and interactive way of learning French vocabulary. As Head of MFL, Mr Coley explained:
“Our students can now learn French vocabulary “on the go” whenever they have a spare few minutes, whether it’s sitting on a bus or at home on the sofa. It really is a fantastic tool to enable our students to make better progress.”
Students are also enjoying using their phones to listen to French podcasts on a regular basis in order to improve their listening skills for the exam. Listening to authentic French speakers on a regular basis is a great way of ensuring exam success.
