We are sending out an invitation to all in our Newton News area (and beyond) to our “Christmas Memory Service”. It will be lovely to see you there.
This will be held on Sunday 1st December in St. Clare’s Church at 4.00pm. All are very welcome to attend this simple and peaceful Service where some short Carols are sung, prayers are said and you can write a message on a “Memory Star” to your past loved ones, and place it on our Advent tree in church. You can, if you wish, also take a star home for your own tree.
You will be given a small glass pebble as you enter, and during the Service your loved ones name will be read out and you (and family) can come forward to place your pebble on The Memory Tray.
There will be refreshments after the Service and a chance to talk to a member of the clergy if you wish, and look at our memorial book.
Please come early to place your loved ones name on our list in church. Any other information can be had from Pam Lovelass APM-AFM on 01325 316841.
