Legacy Tackle opened to the public with a 10% discount off all in store orders until Saturday 14th November.
The owner is Mike Wright a very keen angler and England Under 21 trialist in 1996. He worked as manager of a 9000 sq ft fishing shop until recently and thought as his home town didn’t have a tackle shop, he could offer fellow anglers an option where they don’t have to travel out of town, Legacy Tackle was born.
Mike’s grandfather, Harry Palmer, was a bailiff for over twenty years at Aycliffe Pond, but he died in 2006, and this new venture is part of the legacy he left behind.
It is a family run business, online 24 hours a day (website www.legacytackle.co.uk) and is here to offer value for money products and more importantly great customer service. They won’t have everything in stock but will gladly work with customers to assist their special requirements.
Legacy Tackle is based at Unit 30, Evans Business Centre, Durham Way South, Aycliffe Business Park. The shop opens Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.30pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm. Closed on Mondays.
