6th June – Rowrah

Race conditions were absolutely perfect, beautiful sunshine, it’s normally raining when we go to this track. Seb qualified on pole with a time of 52.01 seconds, just behind his PB of 51.95.

Heat 1 Seb started on pole, finished the heat first;

Heat 2 Started pole, finished the heat first.

Final Started in pole again and led from start to finish, having a lead of 11.67 seconds. The race was straight forward for him, he wanted the win and came away happy, this was great practice ready for the Micromax UK Championship Race on 3rd/4th July at the same venue.

13th June – Hooton Park

Seb wanted to try things a little differently this time, he wanted to give himself more of a challenge by qualifying last, using nine month old trees and his old zip kart. So, he followed through and qualified last.

Heat 1 Started last, he expected to finish mid pack. By the end of the straight he had already made two places and was determined, fantastic driving by Seb, finishing first.

Heat 2 Started on pole but was squeezed into turn one putting him into second, he soon settled into the race, by the end of the first lap he was back in the lead. Keeping focused he brought it home in first place.

The Final Started on pole – we realised before the race he had a slow puncture, didn’t say anything to Seb, it was too late to do anything about it, but he managed to take the win with a lead of 7.85 seconds. He still holds the lap record at Hooton Park.

July sees a really busy race month for Seb:

3rd & 4th July – Rowrah

10th & 11th July – Landow (completely new track)

16th & 17th July – Hooton Park

18th July – Warden Law (which we may drop)
