Dear Sir,
I would like to add my voice to the complaints against the bad smells emitted from Emerald Biogas.
I set off this morning (Monday) for a walk along the Aycliffe to Shildon route by the railway line. What should have been a lovely walk on a nice bright day, was overpowered by this awful stench.
I did think that as we got further away we wouldn’t be able to smell it, but it stayed with us all the way there and back. When I got home I had to have a shower and change my clothes as it was on my lips, up my nose, in my hair and on my clothes.
Surely this cannot be good for our health?
I have had lung cancer and had a lung removed and use my daily walks to help get back to being fit, does this mean I am going to have to give up these walks as I worry that the chemicals being pumped into the air are doing me more harm than good?
Is there anything that can be done to combat this problem?
