I live in Cumby Road, Newton Aycliffe, and, due to the parking issues, the waste disposal wagons end up driving over the grass verge causing major ruts which is awful to look at. A few weeks ago and don’t ask me why but the department that looks after this fills it up with soil and sprinkles grass seed expecting that this would cure the problem. Now, I’m no gardener, but in my little knowledge of flora and fauna and all things to do with soil and gardens etc., a few tonnes of wagon is going to win every time. I hope that any Councillors who read this may come to some sense and give a more lasting remedy than soil and seeds.
