• Meeting of DCC Full Council, Wednesday 23 October (Leader’s Report; Derwent Valley AAP presentation; Strategic Commissioning; Sedgefield Neighbourhood Plan; County Durham Vision; Corporate Parenting; empty DCC buildings).
• Durham has won Champion of Champions at Britain in Bloom.
• Aycliffe Secure Centre has been awarded ‘outstanding’ from Ofsted for its high standards of teaching and empowering young people.
• Full programme announced for Lumière: tickets have now sold out, but you only need a ticket for the central peninsula, only before 7:30pm, and more than two-thirds of the installations do not need a ticket.
• This is your last chance to respond to the Climate Emergency consultation.
• If you have been angered by the roadworks at Bluebell, there is still time to contribute to DCC’s Roadworks consultation.
