The Helping Hands Team in Newton Aycliffe will soon order ten pallets of good quality food. Alwyn White, project leader says “these pallets represent exceptional value for money as we only have to pay £125.00 for each one when the true value is around £1500.00 each.
The Rotary Club have kindly sponsored four of these pallets and we are now seeking businesses or readers of the Newton News to sponsor the other six. Dave Spensley  from Aycliffe Fabrications on the Business Park has kindly offered storage for the pallets. This will give us space to ensure we pack each hamper carefully.
Members of Life Church are heavily involved in this incredible outreach and always seem to get involved with such enthusiasm for which I’m very grateful. They are truly a delight to work with!
We need to be ready with these provisions as we expect to have an increase in the number of people seeking assistance over the coming weeks ahead leading up to Christmas.
If you are a low income family in need of Christmas help, if you are in need of toys this Christmas for your children and need help in feeding your family on Christmas day we may be able to give your family some support. Alwyn says, now is the time to contact us. Absolutely nobody should be going without when we have so much to distribute to those with the least in our community. If you need help then we would love to assist and reach out to you in times of trouble, and offer emergency assistance, food and support.
Please contact us on 07936 431262 every application is dealt with confidentially.
