Three well known Cancer Charities are shortly to benefit from our three local Youth Theatre Groups entertainment. The Tearaways, CATS and TYKES are joining forces in a two hour show at the Civic Hall, Shildon on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September at 7.30pm on both evenings.
A spokesperson said “One of the young people asked if the groups could support two young peoples cancer organisations. Others wanted an adult one. So we all decided to support all three. They are The Teenage Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Care and Children With Cancer.
I think it is great, young people giving up two evenings of their time to entertain and support other youngsters that are not so lucky as to be able to dance and sing as them. I do hope you reading this article believe it too? If so why not come along with your family and friends and support not only the three charities but the young people too. There’s a lot of music, dancing and some laughter too in store for you. Plus a Raffle and Tombola”. Tickets are priced at just £4 and can be purchased at the theatre door on both evenings.
