People who live in and around Morrison Close might have noticed on some Saturday mornings a small band of people collecting litter from our area. These are from Xcel Church and are called Xcel Local that do many things in our town including a Food Bank (we have a collection bin at the Agnew). They deliver Christmas presents to families in poverty and so much more. One of the Pastors Julian Clark is part of this group along with about five others. As a resident and Secretary of the Agnew Community Centre we thank you for this valuable work. We have other news in the pipeline which our Chairman, Joan Clark will be announcing in the near future, so there are some exciting times ahead for our local community. Pop in the Centre at any time for a chat with one of our Trustees and see if you can be part of our future which is also yours.
