Newton Aycliffe is seventy years old and the Aycliffe Santa tradition has been around for sixty of those years.
Rewind, in association with Aycliffe Radio and Newton News would like to acknowledge the commitment and dedication of all Aycliffe Santa’s past, present and future so this festive tradition may continue for many years to come.
Are you our current Santa, are you related to one of our Santa’s or can you remember someone who wore Santa’s robes in the past. Either way we want to hear from you.
We want to compile a list, a roll of honour containing as many names, and dates if possible, so we can publish them in the Xmas edition of the Newton News as a way of saying thank you for making Xmas that extra bit special for people in the community.
