BREAKFAST CLUB: There is a breakfast club on Saturday, May 10th, at the village hall from 9am-noon, when Joy Marie Hair Design will be kindly sponsoring the event. There will be bacon, egg or sausage buns on offer, as well as cups of tea or coffee. Plus, there will be activities for children and a book stall. All proceeds go to the village hall.
BABY SENSORY CLASSES: For parents and carers with babies up to 13 months, there is a sensory class at Aycliffe Village Hall on Tuesdays at 10.30am. For details, call Carly on 07881-922076.

COMMITTEE MEETING: The committee meeting of Great Aycliffe Village Hall Association takes place on Monday, May 12th, at the village hall at the new time of 8pm.

ELECTION: There will be an election of members of the European Parliament for the North-East region on Thursday, May 22nd. The polling station for residents will be held at the village hall from 7am to 10pm.
JUNIOR DISCO: It’s disco time for children aged five to 12 years at the village hall on Friday, May 23rd, from 6.30-8pm. Please note that this is a week earlier than the usual end-of-the-month disco, to avoid the half-term break when children might be on holiday. Hot dogs and a range of snacks and drinks will be available. Children can also have a glitter tattoo for £1. Entry is £1.
DISNEY ON ICE: If you’d like to see this year’s Disney on Ice this year, then book your tickets now! A group will be going to the show – 100 Years of Magic – which is being performed at the Metro Centre, in Newcastle, on Saturday, October 11th, at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost approximately £20. A bus will be organised to transport people there, for which there will be a small charge.
