Ten members of Aycliffe Running Club recently took part in the Autumn Coastal 5k, which is organised by New Marske Harriers.
Conditions were ideal and everyone from the club gave a good account of themselves.
Peter Milburn, who was also first home for the club raced round the course in 18m:45s to finish 24th, followed by Dave Blewitt, 56th – 20:38, John Burnside, 62nd – 20:58, Kelly Smith, 77th – 21:37, Sandra Collins, 80th – 21:43 PB, Susan Milburn, 105th – 23:29, Dave Mackenzie, 123rd – 25:29, Diane Savage, 138th – 28:18, Yvonne Williams, 139th – 28:26 and finally Michael Smith, 145th – 30:22.
