After only three years Autosafe Autocentres Ltd has moved to larger premises to cope with increasing demand for their services. Welcoming two new additions to the team Daryl Miller (Formerly from Holiways) has 23 years experience in the motor trade and Michael Dodd (Formerly Evans Halshaw) has 14 years experience.
On joining the Autosafe team Daryl said “It is nice to be able to talk to customers as this is discouraged in the main dealers”. Michael commented “It is a friendly and happy environment to work in it also makes a change to be known as a person by name as opposed to being just an employee”. Autosafe are also taking the time to develop and train two young people (from the local area) to learn a trade.
Andy’s wife Jo has joined Steve’s wife Jessica in the reception side of the company to make this a friendly environment for both men and women. They feel it is important for women to feel they can call in with a car problem and not feel intimidated in a male orientated business. Autosafe may not be the biggest garage in Aycliffe but they pride themselves on good quality work and customer satisfaction at an affordable price.
Andy says “We offer a large range of services from tyres up to engine rebuilds, no job is to big or small for Autosafe. We also offer a recovery service for breakdowns or car collections”. Stephen Finley and Daryl Miller have recently undergone an advanced diagnostics course and we are pleased to say they both passed with distinction’s. Autosafe are well known on the town already for their expertise in the area of diagnostics even providing this service for other garages in the local area.
