Our guest on Sunday 8th October was local businesswoman, and highly successful publishing entrepreneur Kemone SG Brown Tshabalala. Kemone discussed different aspects of her Jamaican childhood and formative years that formed the foundation and desire to travel the world, and, in the process, create a lucrative career for herself as an international entrepreneurial businesswomen in her own right.
Following on from her emergence as a critically acclaimed author she has gone on to establish her own publishing company tamarindhillpress.com – in part, as a preparation for the release of her new groundbreaking book ‘Great Entrepreneurs, are found on the other side of the pressure’ on the 16th October.
In her own words Kemone says quite clearly “Being a Black woman in the entrepreneurial world is no simple feat, and the journey at times can seem insurmountable.” In many ways the book is a Master Class in the realities of trying to make your mark in the business world, the challenges you will undoubtedly face, but it also provides the reader with authentic and empowering real life stories that will resonate with so many.
Our thanks to Kemone for being our guest on the Random Radio show and for helping to create a show that was informative, educational and highly entertaining.
