Can I please request that dog owners do not use dog leaders or a harness to pick dogs up, or to swing it around when barking at other dogs?
They are not made to be used for this purpose and can cause harm to your pet. It is also a form of animal cruelty and can be reported under the animal welfare act.
I have seen this happening in the Woodham area on a number of occasions, so this letter is advice to the owners, before it gets reported to the RSPCA.
If a dog owner cannot manage the number of dogs you take out for a walk, please just take two dogs at a time and not many.
Dog owners please ensure you keep your pets safe at all times.
