Six Spectrum Roller Skaters competed at Nationals this weekend in Kettering. Four skaters teamed together with a performance titled – Remembering Titanic the unsinkable ship of dreams and came home with second place.

The youngest skater in the squad Ella Newson, 7, achieved 8th in Figures and 11th in free with her routine to music from Miss Saigon.

Jazzmyn Loring, recently selected to skate internationally, gained 6th in figures and 7th in free, skating for the first time in Minis event.

Skating in elementary category, also for the first time, our 4 skaters had superb results:

Elementary Hannah Godwin – Figures 6th, Free 11th

Elementary Lucy Richardson – Figures 13th, Free 9th

Elementary Niamh Dawson – Figures 11th, Free 13th

Elementary Nicola Stevens – Figures 4th, Free 14th

The club is now preparing for Jazzmyn’s first international competition in Paris as well as The British Championships.
