Age UK County Durham’s award winning Come Eat Together project in partnership with Oakleaf Sports Complex invite anyone over 50 to come along to their monthly Meet, Play, Eat. This is an exciting opportunity to meet new people, try a new activity and eat a good lunch.
Taking place on the first Friday of each month, there is a wide range of new and interesting activities to try out, including Arrows, traditional bar games and table tennis. Here’s what’s coming up in the next few months.
Friday 6 May – Have a go at Indoor Bowls
Friday 3 June – See if you can hit the target at Archery
Friday 1 July – Get some fresh air on a Guided Walk
Meet at the Oakleaf Sports Complex reception at 11.00am, each session is £5, inclusive of a delicious bar meal.
