On Tuesday 23rd October, Greenfield enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of celebration with many good friends and colleagues from across the county.  As a school with its heart in the community it was a delightful opportunity to thank local councillors, school governors, headteacher’s from partner schools, colleagues from the advisory service and many more good friends who have helped and supported us along the journey.

As well as sharing the numerous highlights of the very good report, friends of Greenfield were able to sit back and enjoy an afternoon of high level performances.  Greenfield students, with their usual commitment and enthusiasm were keen to treat our visitors to such a small fraction of our diverse and varied work.

As a Specialist Arts and Science College it is unsurprising that we offer all students a broad and challenging curriculum which supports them in developing their academic, artistic and vocational talents.

What is surprising however, is the quality of work achieved by these students and the energy and pride they invest in their work.

This wasn’t just a good afternoon celebrating a GOOD Ofsted inspection, it was a GREAT afternoon celebrating a GREAT school.

Thank you to all for your continued support.

David Priestley, Headteacher
