After completing “Grease” last week,  the CATS Youth Theatre Group will be shortly going into rehearsals for their next show which will be their musical adaptation version of Roald Dahl’s “Matilda”.
The musical story about Matilda Wormwood, an extraordinary young girl with stupid parents and brother. It also includes the terrifying headmistress Miss Trunchbull, who hates all children. Matilda maybe small but she has some powerful tricks to show this horrible grown-up.
A spokesperson said “The group are on the look out for any young people aged 9 to 14 years of age who would like to be part of this next production, either Acting, Singing or Dancing. They choose which they want to do.
They can come along and watch if they wish and there is no committment to join. Over the years CATS have performed many musical productions such as Annie, Hairspray, Mary Poppins, Oliver, High School Musical and many more.
So, who knows your son or daughter could be the next West End star from small beginnings with the CATS group?
