Sedgefield 75 had three swimmers competing, Hayley Bradley, Sam Dixon and Hannah Featherstone. They produced some amazing swims over the weekend of December 1st and 2nd in front of a capacity crowd. This event has two gala’s running at the same time with the 50 metre pool split into two short course events. Nine medals from three swimmers.
Hayley swam in the open 50 metre Breast Stroke taking the bronze medal in a new best time. Sam competed in six events taking junior bronze medals in the 200 Fly and the 100 Freestyle in new best times.
Hannah competed in six events winning four gold medals in the 200 and 100 Freestyle and the 200 and 100 Backstroke. She took silver in the 200 IM and bronze in the 100 meters Butterfly, all of her swims were in new best times.
The preparation for this event had been intense and it’s thanks to the co-operation and good will of all of A Squad in the weeks leading up to this event that these outstanding results were possible
