The end of September saw local business women pulling together to raise awareness and much needed funds for Macmillan.
Temple Spa Consultant, Penny Johnson, had the idea to offer a luxury hand treatment and a home shopping experience from the comfort of her home, whilst guests enjoyed coffee and cake. She was accompanied by Glassy Lassy ladies Lucy Stephen and her mum Mary Hosking who showcased their amazing stained glassware. Both businesses offered a percentage of any sales on the day to the charity, which helped towards the £363.00 total.
Cakes were kindly donated by Rosie at Cozy Coffee and Saffron from Love Thy Cupcake. All who took part in the event enjoyed fun and games and raffle prizes, kindly donated by Lucy and Penny.
