Last Wednesday at the monthly meeting of the Horndale Resident’s Association, it was with great pleasure and pride to handover a cheque for £500 to Pat Chambers of the Scanner Appeal. We raised the money at our successful fun day, comedy night we held in July and some raffle money from one our coach trips. Thank you to everyone who helped us to raise this fantastic amount, without you this would not have been possible. Our next meeting is the 4th October at 6.00pm at Greenfield Arts Centre with refreshments at 5.45. We will have a guest speaker from the Samaritans. Philip Clark Chair
