Woodham Football Academy is delighted to announce that it will be offering professional coaching for girls’ football. The coaching will be delivered by Premier Player Football Academy and Woodham Academy’s own UEFA coaches. Premier Player Football Academy is run by former Middlesbrough and Southampton player, Neil Maddison. The coaching is delivered by Neil Maddison together with Andy Collet, formerly at Darlington FC
The coaching will take place on Thursday evening’s 5-7pm and is open to all girls in years 7, 8 and9.
Shannon Clay, a year 9 student at Woodham Academy, says,
“We have been pestering our PE teachers for a while now for a girls’ football academy. Now it is part of the Sports Academy we are having so much fun. It’s great working with Andy and Neil as they are funny and the training is good. Next year we will be playing competitive matches so we cannot wait for that”.
