Hello Everyone
We are three members of Sedgefield Water Polo Club who train at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre and all live in Newton Aycliffe. We have a fantastic opportunity to go and play water polo for the North East in an international tournament in Lloret, Spain. This tournament is called the BWMF Cup IV and will be held between 31st August and 4th September.
There will be over 50 teams taking part from different nationality’s including Croatia, Spain, Scotland, Hungary, Italy and Portugal and we will all be staying together in a team hotel, competing against each other in the tournament, making new friends from different countries, improving our water polo but most of all making the most of this fantastic opportunity.
In order to go to Spain we need to fund raise for our flights, transfers, entry fee etc and this comes to about £450 per player. We wondered if this would be something you would be able to help us with by offering a donation to help us raise funds. We are planning to do bag packs, raffles, cake sales, tombola’s and lots of other things to help us reach our target.
