The STEAM MACHINE BREWING COMPANY’s first Pop-Up Bar event  was hailed as great success by attendees.
The Aycliffe’s brewery diverse craft beers featured prominently from a customised mobile bar. Nick Smith, one of the founders said, “We’ve had nothing but fantastic feedback for the evening – for the food, music, and craft beer. It was great to see the hall so packed. We’ll definitely be doing something like this again!”
Guests of the event held at Aycliffe Village Hall last Saturday were treated to a gourmet burger from local caterers / food producers the WHOLE HOG, in addition to an energetic foot-tapping performance from local folk roots band the JIG DOCTORS.
“We are really enthusiastic about teaming up with such talent. We want to offer what we did last Saturday as an event package in the future. Where else can you have a craft beer bar from the brewer, gourmet rare meats straight from the producer, with great live music to top it off?”
STEAM MACHINE’s themed pop-up bar is already expected to make some other appearances this year at speciality food and drinks festivals around the region, but locals can always enjoy their products in many of the area’s drinking establishments, with Aycliffe Village’s Royal Telegraph recently added to the ever-growing list.
