We have received great news that The Dunwells will be bringing their full band show to Summertime Fest this year, including Adam Taylor on drums, who is a solo artist too, ADMT, we might persuade him to do a few of his own tracks for us.
We’ve also got Lucy May Walker, a London based singer songwriter originally from Worcestershire. In 2018 Lucy May was discovered busking by Jeremy Vine and went on to perform live on both his BBC Radio 2 show and his Channel 5 TV talk show. In 2022 Lucy was invited back on Radio 2 to talk about her single ‘The Hardest Goodbye’ from her debut album Nothing Ever Stays The Same which received an overwhelming response, reaching no. 1 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart.
She has supported the likes of Texas, Wet Wet Wet, Tony Hadley & Nerina Pallot, as well as selling out numerous headline shows of her own.
We’re not relying on the weather either, Hammer and Pincers is a gorgeous venue if the sun shines but also has an amazing Cruikshank tent if it’s not so great. Food and drink will be available all day.
Tickets are only £20 or £40 for a family ticket including up to 3 under 18’s. Tickets from www.the Dunwells.com – if you love live music you don’t want to miss this!
