Sheila Mulley (centre) was born in Carterton, Oxfordshire in 1951. After leaving Burford Grammar School she worked at Barclays for 3 years before joining the RAF, based at Brize Norton. She worked with her husband-to-be, Bob and they married in 1973 and  two years later had twins Paul and Mandy.

On leaving the RAF Sheila became a housewife and the family followed Bob on his tour of duties across the UK and Germany.

They moved to Newton Aycliffe in 1989 and Sheila joined Greggs in 1992 after leaving Iceflow following its closure. She retired on 21st March after completing 21 years service.

Sheila likes to read Catherine Cookson and Danielle Steele books. She is partial to a glass of wine or three and likes to dine out. Sheila and Bob like to travel the UK and  abroad and recently they visited family in Canada.

She and Bob are going to Rome this year to celebrate their Ruby Wedding Anniversary

Sheila is looking forward to putting her feet up and spending time with her four grandchildren and will also be making use of any spare time, going wherever her bus pass will take her.
