Wellfield Community School has an established connection with Mpondweni-Schietsdrift Primary School near Winterton, South Africa.
They’ve had connections with Zulu pupils for a number of years and have raised in the region of £2,000 to fund vital improvements to the school buildings and purchase basic educational resources.
After years of searching for a company that would be able to support such a visit, the Challenger Trust has provided a proposal for a Gold level visit to South Africa following conversations with Contour Education Services. This is an exciting and once in a lifetime opportunity being offered to all students currently at Wellfield, including Year 11.
