Well known signing for the deaf expert, Margaret Bain, has been appointed Restaurant Manager at The Honest Lawyer a Best Western Hotel on the A167 near Croxdale.
She and newly appointed General Manager Unsal Aydin have launched an exciting all day menu suitable for all ages, with breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas and a dinner menu to tempt everyone.
Unsal originally from Turkey, worked for Redworth Hall and Hall Garth until a few months ago when he applied for the Assistant Manager’s job and was immediately appointed Manager.
The premises which includes a 50 bedroom Hotel are well appointed and offer a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Diners can expect a relaxed a la Carte menu in the Bailey’s Restaurant which has an AA Rosette for culinary excellence.
Try the Steak Night on Wednesday – Sirloin Steak and fat chips with a bottle of wine for two – £27.50p. Thursday night have Haddock & chips with mushy peas and a glass of wine for two -£20. Sunday Lunch is a speciality and excellent value served from 12.noon until 8.30pm.
Margaret Bain doesn’t teach signing now, but still keeps busy with interpreting. She started work at Hall Garth as a waitress and now enjoys working with the management team, ensuring all customers enjoy their visit to the Honest Lawyer.
