Neville Community Association (NCA) had a live music afternoon on Wednesday March 9th with an excellent young singer, Alex Hall. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and asked us for “more of the same please”. We also had a trip to Newcastle and the Hancock Museum on Wednesday 16th March. This was very interesting and had loads more items in there than we thought….It’s definitely worth a look in…. and it’s free!
Just a reminder that coach trips through NCA are available to all Residents of Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas with the first chance of seats going to attendees of our monthly meetings held every 3rd Tuesday at 6.45pm in Neville Community Centre at Neville Parade.
Neville Community Association (NCA) next meeting is Tuesday 19th April at 6.45pm in Neville Community Centre at Neville Parade. Doors open at 6.30pm. The meeting usually lasts about 1 hour and will include a discussion about the trips, events and activities for the next year. We also have free cleaning supplies and hygiene products available for you to take away. Pop down and enjoy a coffee with new friends. Everyone is welcome.
NCA would like our younger community to help us decide what trips, activities and events they would like us to deliver.
We would like to set up a group for them to come together (we don’t have a name yet…that’s their first decision lol) and let us have their ideas. The group would meet for 30 minutes before the main monthly meeting. If you’re interested in being part of this either send a private message to the NCA Facebook page or give me a ring on 07751 385250.
If you have any questions for us, please contact Heather Brewster on 07751 385250.
