As Christmas approaches, we are reflecting on all of the good things that happen in school. In order for us to have a wonderful learning environment, we need to be thankful to the people who help us on a regular basis.

J&C Coaches

You are our first port of call when we need transport and you have taken us on all of our educational visits this year, with a smile and provided an amazing service. Debbie, Nev and staff always manage to accommodate our needs and get us safely to and from whatever adventure we are participating in.

The Red Box Project

Diane and Shona you have given us help, guidance and kindness with regards to the Red Box Project. Your donations have been very helpful for those who need it.

Mr B Humble

Billy, you have given us so much of your time and worked so hard in producing the most wonderful reading shed for us, we cannot thank you enough. Our pupils will benefit massively from this brilliant structure and hope to be using it very soon. ‘Indigo’s Library’ will be well resourced and looked after by us all.

Mrs P Kelstrup

Pearl, over the years you have volunteered your time to come into school and teach our pupils to love and nurture our garden. You are an inspiration and brilliant role model to us all.

Our wonderful reading volunteers

Reading is very important and we are so lucky to have a group of ladies who come into school every week to help with reading. Your kindness and patience is really appreciated and our pupils love to read with you all.

Rotary Club

Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club have provided so much support to our Rota Kids this year, particularly Mrs Pat Pickersgill. The children are raising money for a Grifaid Water Filter to provide clean water for children less fortunate. They will be continuing with this fundraising in the New Year and to date have raised £142.75

Staff and pupils hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
