Under 8’s
Travelled away to Hartlepool Pools Youth, in what was only our second games since the start of November. This was to show in the early stages as Heighington Fell 1 down to a well taken Pools goal.
Theo Callaghan came on at the start of the second half and instantly changed the game with a sensational touch with the outside of the boot to take it past the impressive home keeper before slotting home 1-1. Heighington took full control with Man of the Match Ty Woodward scoring Twice as did the ever impressive Jay Bulch to run home 5-1 deserved winners.
The second game was a thriller Heighington lead both 3-1 and 4-2 but finally lost 5-4 after an inspired comeback from the home side. Goals From Thomas Graham (2) Theo Callaghan (1) and a first for the club for Kenzie White, much to all the parents delight. Man of the match was Harvey Yale who is fast becoming known as “the wall”. Home game against Billingham next week to try to keep our 100% league form going
Under 11’s
Away to Greatham in tough conditions, Heighington took the lead midway through the first half with a good goal from Brandon Pape. Owen Evans doubled the lead a sublime chip from the edge of the box. In the second half Heighington took control with 2 more goals from Brandon Pape to complete his hat trick. A late goal from the home side made it 4-1 and a well deserved victory for Heighington
