The new term at Sugar Hill started this week, with one familiar face missing from the staff team. Margaret Cummins (fourth from the left) said her sad farewells to colleagues just before the Easter holidays, as she left behind her mop and bucket, after clocking up an amazing 34 years service of cleaning classrooms.
Margaret was emotional as she finished her final shift, saying, “Sugar Hill has been a lovely place to work. Everyone has been so friendly.” Margaret is looking forward to spending more time with her grandchildren, her friends and family.
Everyone at Sugar Hill will miss Margaret and we want to thank her for all she has done throughout her time at the school.
We wish her a long and happy retirement.
