“LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING”
The “Feel Good Film Show” at St Clare’s Church on Tuesday 19th June features the romantic drama “Love is a Many Splendored Thing” starring William Holden and Jennifer Jones. Set in Hong Kong in 1949/50, a widowed Eurasian doctor (Jones) and an American correspondent (Holden) fall in love, but face prejudice on all sides. This box office hit collected 3 Oscars, 4 nominations and the title song was a No 1 hit.
Everyone is Welcome. Tea and coffee are served at 1pm, included in the £2, and the film starts at 1.15pm.
