Are you over 55 and interested in a free driving MOT?
Durham Constabulary is encouraging eligible drivers to take part in Durham County Council’s Safer Driving with Age (SAGE) driving assessment. SAGE consists of a 40-minute session with a driving instructor with residents taking a drive in their own car, along roads they know well, and at the end the assessor will provide feedback and offer any additional tips.
SAGE has been running in County Durham for several years with many drivers repeating the experience annually. Assessments are available all year round. If you are interested, call the council’s road safety team on 03000 268 172 or email: road.safety@durham.gov.uk
