A new local advisory group is set to launch to allow communities to have their say and support future COVID-19 support services.
From lived experience of COVID-19, a professional awareness or simply an opportunity to share views – the new group is seeking individuals to join with the intention to meet every four to six weeks, either virtually or in person.
Kelly Carswell, Senior Research and Intelligence Officer at PCP, said: “Leading research is underway to support future COVID-19 support services to help local communities move forward from the pandemic.
“The local advisory group will be held either virtually or in person at community centres across County Durham, with mileage expenses provided.
“If you’re interested in sharing your views and joining a new and insightful group, please get in touch.”
Lived experience of COVID-19 may include those who suffered impacts to mental health, those in carer roles, those who have been affected by bereavement, if you’re living with Long Covid, key workers and those impacted by anxiety due to the pandemic.
Expenses is 45p per mile will be covered for those living in County Durham.
