I am holding a new Comicon event in Newton Aycliffe on Saturday 18th May 2024 at the OakLeaf Sports Complex.
‘Cliffecon’ is a new Comicon and pop culture event – website is: www.cutefox.co.uk
It will feature the chance to meet special guests from film, TV and media. Christopher Ryan (The Young Ones, Doctor Who, Absolutely Fabulous and more) and Hacker T Dog have already been announced their appearance, with more to come.
There will be over thirty trade stalls selling everything from action figures to sweets to jewellery. There will also be family activities to take part in, such as an Animal Roadshow and face painting as well as some photo opportunities with replica film props such as The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones and we will also be welcoming some Daleks and an array of cosplayers dressing up as their favourite characters.
It will be a great day out for all the family as well as seasoned Comicon goers.
