Mick Beadle from Newton Aycliffe along with Andrew Legg, Steve Bowen, Brian Bolton and Steve Gray From Bishop Auckland all completed the coast to coast on Sunday 1st July from Workington to Seaton Carew on bikes in aid of Cancer Charities, they hope to have raised well over a £1000.
Weather conditions on the west coast were poor but hearing that the weather in the North East was dry kept them going and the blue sky’s around Leyburn lifted their spirits. They completed the ride in 8 hours 50 minutes riding time at an average speed of 16.6 MPH
At the end they were greeted by family and friends and were presented with medals for their achievements
