THERE’S a great day out in store for all the family in Newton Aycliffe on Sunday 2nd June when there will be classic and vintage vehicles on display. The show will take place in the car park of the Scouts Club from 10am to 4pm and will feature vehicles from around the region.

The event is organised by “The Northern Bygones Society”  – a club set up last year, and which is open to anyone who is interested in vintage or classic vehicles or indeed any vintage collectables.

It’s free to see the show or to enter a vehicle in it. Entries are welcomed from TNBS members and non-members alike.

Paul Jackson, TNBS Founder, said: “We are delighted to be coming to Newton Aycliffe’s Scouts Club.

“This is a great opportunity for older people to take a trip down memory lane and for younger one’s it’s a wonderful chance to see some pieces of living history”.

It’s a great event for all the family, why not make a day of it and visit Newton Aycliffe Scouts Club. The Scouts will be selling hot dogs, bacon and sausage butties, curries, spaghetti bolognese, cakes, scones, tea, coffee and juice.  There will also be a Table Top Sale, and a Tombola.
