On Friday 7th February, Newton News received a phone call from a concerned shopkeeper at Simpasture, their concern was the lack of parking spaces for customers due to the amount of vehicles parked on the roads who were involved in the building of the new bungalows on the old Iron Horse car park.
Staff members were having to park on Emerson Way, and customers were driving around trying to find space.
One shopkeeper commented: “our customers have nowhere to park and are just driving off, this is very disappointing and should have been better organised.”
