Aycliffe Bike Club held a fundraising ‘Halloween Party’ last year where club member Stewart Martin had his legendary long beard shaved to raise money for Help for Heroes.
On Sunday 4th May Nigel Stevens local co-ordinator for the Tyne & Wear branch of H4H attended the bike club meeting at The Turbinia, Newton Aycliffe to accept the cheque on behalf of H4H. A fantastic amount of £465 was raised for the charity.
Aycliffe Bike Club meets at the The Turbinia on Thursdays from 5pm onwards and everyone is welcome to meet the friendly & knowledgeable members. We also do regular ride outs.
The Turbinia also offers fantastic entertainment nights with Open Mic/Buskers’ evenings from 8pm on Fridays & regular Rock Nights on Saturdays.
