Aycliffe Beekeepers Association is running a beekeeping course for beginners. It will be held at Moore Lane Eco Centre on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th October between 6.30 pm and 8.00 pm. It covers the history of beekeeping, parts of the hive, the beekeeping year, how to spot and control pests and diseases, swarm control and prevention, and how to access further education and literature. It is open to all ages and costs £50.00 for an individual and £75.00 for a couple. All equipment is provided and we make sure that you have an enjoyable time.
