County Durham Community Foundation is hosting an exclusive afternoon tea at the Rivergreen Centre in Aykley Heads on Saturday 12th March, working in partnership with Rivergreen Developments and their sister company, Jesmond Dene House.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, followed by a spectacular afternoon tea prepared by the chefs of Jesmond Dene House and also treated to fabulous entertainment from the National Youth Choir. The event will incorporate the opportunity to take part in a special raffle, with one of the prizes on offer being a two hour pastry experience at the luxurious Jesmond Dene House.
Peter Candler, director of Jesmond Dene House and Managing Director of Rivergreen Developments, will explain the state-of-the-art features that have been incorporated in this environmentally friendly building, which is home to the National Youth Choir, the Lord Lieutenant of County Durham and the new Registry Office for Durham.
All proceeds will go towards the work of County Durham Community Foundation which provides grants to community groups and individuals within County Durham and Darlington, making a genuine difference to the lives of local people.
Tickets are priced at £17.50 per person if booked by Valentine’s Day and £19.50 if booked after this date.
