Spectrum Roller Skaters were very pleased to accept a cheque for £200 from Asda store Bishop Auckland. The green token community box supports local groups and the roller skaters were very proud to be nominated as a good cause.
The roller skating group consisting of members from Newton Aycliffe, is based at Shildon and was formed in 2014. It has grown in numbers and relies heavily on funding and donations.
“This donation will help towards travel to competitions throughout the year. Our first competition is at Kettering where 11 skaters will compete in a national artistic roller skating competition”.
